Family?

Sometimes it is very hard to find a "place" in a family. No matter what is said or done, some people are never truly "acceptable". I am not talking about me, just someone real close to me. She has been having a difficult time lately and feels a lot of pressure. Cats are born helpers, people are not. Take the time to say thanks to the people that matter to you. You would be surprised just how much it matters.

The boys will be staying for the weekend. I hope Mom remembers to buy my cat food when she shops for their food. I need to go remind her. TTYL

Next Lesson...

I am returning to my teaching today. I want to give the next lesson that all humans should know. Cats are by nature a clean animal, we do it all by ourselves! Why do humans insist on sticking us in water and scrubbing us with soap? This is pointless and irritating. I am just going to go outside and roll in the dirt, so why do it?
Humans don't seem to get it. I have tried knocking the soap over, hiding under the bed, and escaping out the door while the tub is filling. My human just doesn't get my point. This is a subject that I believe we, as cats, should stand up for! I don't want to take a human bath, I will use my tongue thank you! TTYL

Sneak

The boys went home yesterday.
On to the good things. The boys got to go to a pizza place for kids with their Mommie and Robert. YEAH!! I know that they will have a wonderful time. Pizza plus games equals GREAT time. I know that this is a special treat that they will appreciate. I wonder if I could sneak into a place like that. I like pizza, do you think I could? Watch, I will show you how sneaky I can be!

Meet and RUN

I got to laugh at Scooby yesterday when the monster's dad dropped them off. Mom has been taking Scooby out to sit on the porch everyday. He likes it, as long as she holds him (the big baby!!). So there we were sitting on the porch when up pulls the van. Scooby got real tense and Mom said some dirty words that I can't type (Mom threatened to cut off my paws if I did). Out comes the "Dad" and then the boys. Mom got up with Scooby and went over to introduce him to the "dad". He said something dumb about not ever seeing a cat with blue eyes (Crystal had blue eyes too!) and he rubbed Scooby's head. So he wants to show Scooby off, so mom walks around the van and shows the "STEP mom" Scooby. She rubs him too. By now Scooby is just about ready to wet himself and then he saw them. The real monster children. The "Dad" has two other kids and Scooby was (rightly so) scared out of his mind. I was ready to attack if Scooby needed me, oh yeah or mom either. But this time they acted like kids and stayed in the van. So mom walked up to the house and let Scooby in so he could run off down the hall like his tail was on fire and then hide under the bed. They left and the good little monsters stayed with us. I am glad that it went okay. We had to "help" Scooby out from under the bed later but I don't really blame him for hiding. I think Jeremy is getting up so I got to run! TTYL

Do we have kids?

I am very pleased to report that I will be having visitors, of the monster kind. They are coming sometime tomorrow and we don't know when they are leaving! Well, they have to go back to school on Monday, so we know they have to be home by then (He he). They are coming to us from their father's house (GRRRRR). We, as a household, don't like him. He WAS married to Aunt Heather until her brain came back from Mars! So anyway, we are liberating the boys tomorrow! Now mom is cleaning a lot faster than yesterday, she doesn't want to do it while the boys are here. So I am back to my new job, warming the furniture. I think I might just get a promotion! I will be the one they call when the furniture is cold and needs a good warming! (Ha-Ha!) TTYL

Chilling or maybe warming

Today is a lazy day for us cats here. Mom is cleaning so we have to stay out of her way. She just sends us out if we venture into the wrong areas. So this is how my day will be spent!

I say, clean on Mom, clean on!! TTYL

Spring

It is finally warm here in Virginia! It is still cool at night but the days are great! The grass got its first cut and all the bushes and trees are blooming. Mom says it is beautiful! I am just glad that I can stay outside longer without the risk of frost bite! When it gets cold it seems that I have to stay inside more than I like to. Now that it is warm I lay down in the grass and dose off. I like to sleep on the front porch right in front of the door where it is the warmest! I just love it! The sun is shining and the birds are singing, what a day! I am going to go play now so TTYL!

Reminiscing

My brother Scooby posted a wonderful tribute to me on my birthday. He made me kind of miss all of my cat family. So I thought that I would introduce them to you all. It took me awhile to get all of my pictures in order, but I did it. See, blogs are just family reunions in the cyber-world!

This is my Cat Mom, Dot. She was loving and kind, but she farted a lot!

If I introduced my mom I have to introduce my Cat Dad, Oreo. You all know him as Boogiehead Oreo. He is a great father figure. Showing the right amount of deviousness and love.

I was born in a family of GIRLS!! I was the only boy in my litter. That was perfect for me because my human mom wanted a boy, ME! I wanted to show you a picture of all of us kittens, except I didn't (still don't) follow instructions well. You can see PART of me. Guess what part, look below and find out if you are right!

So did you guess right? Yes those little paws, tail, and butt are mine. I was off to look for food, just like now! All of the beautiful kittens with me are my sisters. We are so cute! I think I will go and show Scooby some pictures of all of my family. I hope he doesn't fall in love with any of my sisters, I would have to beat him up! More than I already do! TTYL

I want to say hi to all and reply to some of your comments. I am going to start at the post for my Grandma's birthday! Than you for the birthday wishes, grandma loved it! What I am posting won't make all that much sense at times but I hope you get the general message.

To Timmy, I agree that Carl Edwards is a great driver. He always does well. He does one heck of a back flip! I just like Kasey Kahne because he took over for Bill when he retired. Mr. Kahne has proven that he has what it takes to be a great driver! I mean all you have to do is hit the 9 button an extra time and you get 99!

To Beau, You are a naughty cat for not knowing Kasey Kahne!

To Timmy (again :) ), Handsome? Wow, I just see a little kid. Well, maybe thirteen or so.

Today is my Grandma's birthday! Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday my Grandma, Happy birthday to you!!! I will not even ask how old you are, I can't count that high (insert evil cat smile). Have a wonderful day today and everyday after!

Happy birthday to Kasey Kahne too! Way to win yesterday!!

Kasey Kahne

Yes! That number nine car did it! He beat all the other drivers on the track to win the race at Texas! He is having his birthday tomorrow, talk about a present! He won on the 9th day of April, go figure. He is doing so good this year! Two wins so far, keep going! I am very proud to be a Kasey Kahne fan today (and every other day too)! Way to go, keep driving!! We have to take the monsters home now so I will post again tomorrow. TTYL GO 9 CAR, GO!

Monsters!

The monsters are coming to stay with us again! I am so excited! I hope that Jeremy is not so sick that he cannot play with me. I know that my friend Steven will play with me, no matter how Jeremy feels! I want to thank everybody who is helping to increase awareness for the Narcolepsy Network and all of the good work they do! BAD LUNGS

Monster Jeremy is still sick. We found out that he has pneumonia today. This is really bad because he also suffers from asthma. Very dangerous combination! Please send him lots of good thoughts and prayers, he could really use them right know. I know that Aunt Heather is taking good care of him while he feels bad. I hope that Oreo is extra nice to Jeremy right now too! Mom is sad because Jeremy was at our house last weekend and she thinks she should have know he was getting worse. I keep telling her she ain't a psychic! She gets premonitions sometimes but she still can't see the future all of the time! Guilt is one ugly emotion. I am glad that cats rarely feel it! Please send the little monster all the cat and human love and prayers while he is sick, he is getting lots from us. We will keep you posted! TTYL

Another Year or Seven Older

I am posting today to let everyone know that this is my birthday! I am very happy today. My mom is going to give me my special cat food and the monsters are here to wish me a happy birthday too! I have already gotten my new toys, but hey I love them anyway! I got new chase me toys, feathers on a bouncing string. I got the normal cat toys and I got one special thing, a talking mouse. I have had this for a while now but mom told me it was a birthday present. This thing is kind of cool. It says "uh oh" and spins around and laughs at you while it's eyes flash. It is touch AND voice activated. If you meow it does it's thing! I like it, Scooby is terrified of it! That makes it one of my favorite toys ever! I am going to go party some more, have a great one!!
